Josefine Andersson mezzo-soprano

Josefine is a swedish mezzo-soprano who recently received her master's degree from the Opera Academy in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Josefine will compete in Belvedere singing competition this summer in Amsterdam.  
Summer of 2014 she sang both Rosina with the royal opera of Copenhagen and the Hous sparrow in the opera The deepest place with Opera Nordic.
Summer 2013 will Josefine sing Hermia in Britten's Midsumer night dream at Läckö castel in Sweden.
In the spring of 2012 Josefine sang Sesto in Julius Caesar by Handel in Folk Opera in Stockholm, which was Josefines debut in Stockholm, Sweden.

Josefine was
 assigned the Jenny Lind scholarship in 2012. It consists of a cash prize of 4700 € and a concert tour in the U.S., Canada and Sweden in the summer of 2012.
The 29th of October 2011 Josefine won the 3th price in Sibelius singing competition in Järvenpää in Finland. She also got a special price for best interpretation of a mordern song. In the final she sang Sibelius and Strauss songs with Helsinki symphony orchestra, conducted by John Storgårds.
